Rajasthan, which has 25 Lok Sabha seats, went to the poll in two phases: 13 seats on April 29 and 12 seats on May 6.

The State, which has 4.88 crore voters, saw a turnout of 66.07%, an increase over the  record 63.02 voter turnout during the 2014 Parliamentary elections.

Rajasthan saw assembly polls just last year, with the Congress and its allies coming to power. the Congress won 100 of the 200 Assembly seats, with the BJP winning 73.  However, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had swept all 25 seats with the Congress failing to get even one, for the first time since 1989.

Trends as of 10 a.m

The BJP is leading in 24 out of 25 constituencies in Rajasthan, while Hanuman Beniwal’s Rashtriya Loktantrik Party is ahead in Nagaur as per the trends. With a vote share of over 59%, the BJP has established a clear lead in the State. While the exit polls predicted a victory in 23-25 seats, the BJP had won in all the 25 constituencies in the 2014 Parliamentary elections.
