Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat: Akhilesh Yadav leading at the end of 1st round

AZAMGARH: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav is leading against Bhojpuri singer, actor and BJP's candidate Dinesh Lal Yadav 'Nirahua' in Azamgarh Lok Sabha constituency, according to the latest trends.
After the latest round of counting, SP president has received 30267 votes while his BJP rival Nirahua has got 16499 of votes.
Overall, the NDA is currently leading in 51 seats in Uttar Pradesh, while the Mahagathbandhan is ahead in 24 constituencies, as per trends at 10.43 AM.

In 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, SP president Akhilesh Yadav is in direct fight with BJP's Dinesh Lal Yadav. Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), who has won the seat thrice — in 1998, 2004 and 2008, is not contesting from Azamgarh constituency this time.
