Zuarinagar.
From the Verna Industrial Estate, 2,768 packages of wall mount LED and LCD brackets worth Rs 3.3 lakh were confiscated.
The water and oil packages did not have packer registration certificates as required under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, and the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, sources explained.
A case was also booked against a packer and importer of an MNC dealing in televisions at Verna.
