Odisha election results: 2019 polls were a bipolar contest, says Bijoy Mohapatra, BJP

BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra, often referred to as Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik’ bête noire on the “spectacular, bipolar” polls this time, on luck and his pending elections, Patkura which falls under the Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat. Mohapatra, a founding member of the BJD had famously fallen out with Patnaik in 2000 and has never won an elections since. The assembly seat of Patkura, which falls within the Kendrapara LS seat that Baijayant Panda hopes to win from the BJP, has been postponed after Patnaik’s ailing candidate died midway through campaigning.
