Wayanad Election Result 2019: Rahul leading by over 10,000 votes

WAYANAD: Congress President Rahul Gandhi is leading against CPI’s P P Suneer in Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency by a margin of 10,000 votes, according to the latest trends.
Overall, the Congress is currently leading in 104 seats, while the BJP is ahead in 303 constituencies, as per trends at 10:09 AM.
Wayanad Lok Sabha Constituency
Wayanad is a Lok Sabha constituency in Kerala. In 2014 Lok Sabha polls, MI Shanavas of the Indian National Congress had won from this seat. After his demise in 2018, the seat held by Shanavas has been lying vacant.
Candidates up in the key contest against each other are Rahul Gandhi of Congress and P P Suneer of CPI. The election for the constituency was conducted on April 23 for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
In the previous Lok Sabha elections in 2014, MI Shanavas of INC beat Sathyan Mokeri of CPI by receiving a large number of votes.
