Urmila Matondkar files complaint over EVM discrepancies at Magathane polling station

Urmila Matondkar, Congress candidate from Mumbai North constituency, has alleged discrepancies in Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) at Magathane polling station and has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI).

"On the form of EVM 17C from Magathane, the signatures and the machine numbers are different. A complaint has been filed with the EC," Matondkar tweeted.

 

Matondkar, contesting against BJP’s Gopal Shetty was trailing in Mumbai North.

Earlier in an interview with BusinessLine, Matondkar, making her political debut, said there was an urgent need to bring water and electricity to homes in North Mumbai.
