Maneka Gandhi wins Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency

Maneka Gandhi was leading by a thin margin over the BSP candidate earlier in the day.

Union minister and BJP leader Maneka Gandhi has won from the Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency by a margin of 12,000 votes.

Maneka Gandhi's rival, Chandra Bhadra Singh of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has secured 4,41,344 votes while the BJP leader received 4,53,316 votes.

Maneka Gandhi was leading by a thin margin over the BSP candidate earlier in the day.

Maneka Gandhi had won the 2014 Lok Sabha election from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat. This time her son Varun Gandhi is contesting from Pilibhit.

The 38-day polling process of the General Elections 2019 ended on May 19.

The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has won two seats in Uttar Pradesh and is leading in 58 seats.
