NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange were trading 23 points, or 0.20 per cent, lower at 11,757, indicating a negative start for the Nifty50. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

Sun TV, Religare Enterprises: Sun TV, Religare Enterprises, Eros International, MEP Infrastructure Developers, Novartis India, Ramco Industries, Eclerx Services and TVS Srichakra are among a few companies which will announce their quarterly results today.

HDFC Bank: The bank board approved sub-division of equity shares of bank in ratio of 1:2.

I nterglobe Aviation: The company said that it is not in position to comment on reports suggesting promoters’ difference over airline's control, performance

YES Bank: Rating agencies are in the dark about the fate of Yes Bank loans to two Essel entities. Acuité Ratings hasn’t got a ‘no-default certificate’ from the firms and Yes is silent on whether there is delay in loan servicing.

BoB: Public sector lender Bank of Baroda surprised the Street by reporting a net loss of Rs 991 crore in the March quarter due to accelerated provisioning. The bank had reported a loss of ₹3,102 crore in the year-ago quarter.

TechM: Several brokerages have maintained buy rating on Tech Mahindra even as the company reported a fall in net profit in the quarter ended March. Antique Stock Broking, Jefferies and Reliance Securities maintained buy rating while Credit Suisse and CLSA retained their outperform rating.

Quess Corp: Fairfax group-controlled business services provider Quess Corp on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter net profit of Rs 76 crore, which was flat compared with the year earlier. Revenue rose 21% to ₹2,295 crore for the quarter through March.

Spicejet: The budget carrier's April Passenger load factor came in at 93.7 per cent. The airlines has announced the launch of 20 new domestic flights, with 18 of them connecting the financial capital with a host of metro and non-metro cities.

Skipper: The company reported a net profit of Rs 17.7 crore for the March quarter, down 63 per cent over the corresponding period in the 2017-18 fiscal.

NBCC: The company is unlikely to dilute certain conditions, including exemption from tax liability, in its offer for debt-laden Jaypee Infratech but is ready to negotiate on the proposal related to unsold flats, sources said.

Ashoka Buildcon: The highway developer reported a 47.1 per cent decline in standalone profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 97.99 crore for the quarter ended March 2019.

GE T&D India: The company’s net profit slipped 6 per cent on year to Rs 26.09 crore during the quarter ended March 2019, mainly due to higher expenses.

JK Lakshmi Cement: The cement maker reported a 27.80 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 43.25 crore for the quarter ended March 2019.

TCI Express: The logistics service provider reported 22.2 per cent growth in profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 22 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2019.

Schneider Electric: The company posted a net profit of Rs 1.45 crore in the March 2019 quarter.

IndusInd Bank: The lender’s profit fell 62% in the March quarter as provisions tripled on-year after the lender classified its exposure to embattled infrastructure financier IL&FS as bad loans.

Analyst calls

• ICICI Securities has maintained add rating on Thyrocare Technologies with a target price of ₹450. Thyrocare has announced that promoter Dr. A Velumani has offered to buy the entire shareholding in company’s subsidiary Nuclear Healthcare, the imaging business, at current investment value of ₹1.95 billion, which shows promoter’s intent to safeguard minority investors’ interest, the brokerage said.

• IIFL has maintained buy rating on Sobha with a revised target price of ₹500. While Sobha’s new bookings growth has been strong in the last two years, its net debt has also increased 17% over the same period, the brokerage said. Management believes debt levels could further worsen, as Sobha adds new projects, even as the company is making efforts to monetise its legacy land parcels in Chennai, Hosur and Kochi, said IIFL.

• Edelweiss has maintained buy rating on Dhanuka Agritech and revised target price to ₹469 from ₹444 as it rolled forward valuation to September 2020. While FY19 has been below par, the management’s outlook remains positive and it continues to guide for 200 bps EBITDA margin improvement in FY20, the brokerage said.

• Reliance Securities has maintained buy rating on JK Cement and revised target price to ₹1,140 from ₹985. The brokerage expects JK Cement’s grey cement business to improve further following commissioning of new kiln at Mangrol, which may warrant a further re-rating of the stock. It has increased operating profit before tax (EBITDA) estimate by 14% both for FY20 and FY21 to factor in higher realisation.
