Kerala has 20 Lok Sabha seats. Polling for Lok Sabha seats in Kerala took place in phase 3. All 20 seats in Kerala went to polls in phase 3.
Kerala has been in news in the last six months over Sabarimala issue. After Supreme Court allowed women's entry in Sabarimala shrine, the state of Kerala saw divided public opinion. While Left Front-led state government was in favour of women's entry inside the shrine, BJP and a few religious bodies opposed Supreme Court's decision.
