Anyone with a PC or Mac computer can download the latest version of The Sims for free.
The notoriously addictive and popular life simulator will be free to download via Origin - EA's online gaming platform.
But you'll need to be quick as it is a limited time offer.
The creators of the game have made it freely available to download as part of the Electronic Arts' Origin Access subscription programme.
It will be available free of charge until May 28 - after that date it will revert to the original price of $40 (£31.64).
All you need to do is install the free to download Origin platform and register an account. You can do this here.
From there you will be able to download the game to your computer.
The deluxe version of the simulation game has not been included in the offer, so players will need to pay $50 (£39.55) to download it.
The fourth title in the iconic series, The Sims 4 gives players God-like powers to create and control people in a virtual world where there are no rules.
Gamers can customise their characters appearance, personalities, develop their relationships and pursue careers and even start families.
There are also been several "game packs" released, including Parenthood, which allows the players to shape the characters' children and teenagers as they go through life.
The developers also release regular free updates, some that include major changes such as the addition of a toddler life stage that was previously non-existent in past editions.
