Order reserved till June 7 on writ seeking FIR against RaGa’ Khoon ki dalali’ jibe on PM

New Delhi, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal on Wednesday reserved order for June 7 on a complaint seeking lodging of an FIR against Indian National Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his alleged comment of “Khoon ki dalali” against Prime Minister Narendra Modi .

Advocate Joginder Tuli filed a complaint against Mr Gandhi and sought direction from the court to police officials to register an FIR against him for allegedly making derogatory remarks in 2016 against PM Modi, accusing him of hiding behind the blood of soldiers and cashing in on their sacrifice.

On May 15, police had filed an action taken report before the court and said that Mr Gandhi allegedly made the defamatory statement against the Prime Minister.

Police further said that as per the contents of the complaint no cognizable offence is made out against Rahul Gandhi.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal after hearing submissions on behalf of complainant reserved his order.
