Congress will do well in Telangana: Uttam Kumar Reddy

HYDERABAD: TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy exuded confidence that Congress will perform better in Telangana and at the national level.
“Congress will get good results. This will be revealed when the results are announced on May 23. We don’t have trust in the exit polls,” he said after paying floral tributes to former PM Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of his death anniversary. Senior leaders also paid tributes to the statue of Rajiv in Somajiguda and to his portrait in Gandhi Bhavan.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticising Jawaharlal nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv, Uttam said it only reflected the bankruptcy of the BJP government in terms of its achievements.
Former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir, All India Congress Committee secretary V Hanumanth Rao, MLC T Jeevan Reddy, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president Mallu Ravi, former TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah, former CLP leader K Jana Reddy were among those who paid tributes to Rajiv.
