Judicial magistrate launches investigation into death of lottery king’s employee

Coimbatore: Following the directions of Madras high court, judicial magistrate VIII M Ramadhas on Wednesday launched an investigation into the death of ‘lottery king’ Santiago Martin’s employee Palaniswami.
The magistrate met the doctors, who conducted postmortem on the body at the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) and collected the video, photographs and report of the autopsy. He later visited the spot where the body was found and conducted inquiry with Karamadai police personnel.
The HC had ordered the district court to submit a detailed report regarding the death and to recommend the necessity to conduct re-postmortem. TNN
