Winning pitcher Gabrielle Streeto belted a solo home run in the third inning and then lined a walkoff RBI single to cap a two-run seventh-inning rally, as Durfee defeated New Bedford 3-2 in Big 3 Conference softball on Tuesday at Durfee.

With her team down 2-1 in the seventh, Durfee's Sadie Fitzgerald led with a walk and Yulianna Rivera followed with a single. One out later, Mya Fox bunted the runners along. Fitzgerald scored the tying run on a passed ball before Streeto, a senior, lined her hit to right-center.

Streeto's homer in the third inning had tied the game at 1-1.

Durfee finishes Big 3 play 1-3.

Case 8, Abington 5: At Abington, Madyson Medeiros went 3-for-4 with her fifth home run of the season and three runs batted in and Ali Feilhauer extended her season-long hit streak to 18 games to lead Case.

Medeiros and Chloe Bibeau (2-for-4) hit back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning, the second game in a row in which the Cardinals (13-5) have gone back-to-back. Medeiros has been involved in both episodes.

Feilhauer was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Sydney Hajder was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Riley Fitzgerald was 2-for-3.

Somerset Berkley Regional 3, New Bedford 1: At Somerset, Laney Martin threw a seven-hitter with seven strikeouts and just one walk as the Raiders (8-10) posted this crucial win.

Emily Pacheco was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs; Jocelyn Gagnon was 2-for-2 with a walk; and Brianna Soares was 1-for-2 with a walk and RBI.
