G-Power Will Tune Your BMW M2 Competition To 532HP For Just Over $1,500

If you ever feel the need to make your BMW M2 Competition more powerful, then you’ll be happy to know that you’re spoiled for choice. G-Power is joining the M2 tuning foray with number of options, including one that will bump output beyond what you get in the M4.

Offered for €1,400 ($1,562) in Germany until June 3, and €350 ($391) more after that, the Performance Software V1 S ECU tune boosts the 3.0-liter turbo-six to 540 PS (532 hp / 397 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque.

That’s a healthy 130 PS (128 hp / 95 kW) and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft)  increase over the stock M2 Competition, which sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds with the optional DCT, and up to 280 km/h (174 mph) when equipped with the M Driver’s Package.

The supercar levels of power rocket it to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds and up to 330+ km/h (205+ mph).

G-Power also offers a selection of other upgrades and accessories, including 20-inch wheels, custom leather interior and sports steering wheel, performance data recorder, floor mats and a car cover among others.
