Earlier this year, Lenovo unveiled its latest Z series flagship smartphone called the Z6 Pro. Now, the company has introduced yet another phone in the Z series. Dubbed the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition, the new handset has arrived as a mid-range offering with triple primary cameras, a beefy battery packed in a slim body, and an all-screen fascia.

The Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition’s base variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and has been priced at RMB 1,099 (~Rs 11,100). The 6GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB models are being offered for RMB 1,399 (~Rs 14,100) and RMB 1,699 (~Rs 17,200). The phone will go on sale in China starting today in two colour variants – Knight Black and Magic Stardust.

The Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition flaunts a premium appealing design with an 8-layer nanoscale coating at the rear. The phone has a single piece of glass at the rear, which curves to the sides too, doubling as the frame. At the rear, the handset sports three vertically placed cameras, an LED flash unit, and a fingerprint sensor. Notably, the smartphone sports a slim body that measures 8.1mm around the waist, even after packing a beefy power cell.

As for the other specs, the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition features a 6.3-inch HDR 10 display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s 10nm fabrication process based 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset. The handset comes in three RAM and storage configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 64GB, and 6GB RAM + 128GB. Software-wise, the smartphone boots Android Pie based ZUI 11.

Talking about the camera specs, the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition boasts a triple camera setup at the rear comprising of a 16MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter, and a 5MP third snapper. The phone offers 2x optical zoom and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) as well. For selfies, the handset has a 16MP front-facing camera with display flash. In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS. Lastly, a beefy 4,050mAh battery with 15W fast charging support keeps the whole package alive.
