For icc, summer cryder supplies the power.

The former mooreville standout slugged a team high 10 home runs this season.

Mattie meine is the speedster.

Meine stole a team-high 49 bases to go along with her .415 batting average.

Olivia burns is the dominant pitcher.

Burns, a grenada native, led icc with 25 wins, 151 strikeouts, and a 1.76 era.

Olivia burns: 'we work really hard.

Our coaches, they get on us sometimes, but it's just to make each one of us better.'

Summer cryder: 'we get on the field and we never give up.

Even if we're getting beat so bad we come back hustling on the field and off the field.

Good at bats and good defense.'

Andy kirk: 'this bunch is interesting.

I describe them sometimes as bunch of misfits.

They just find a way all the time.

Sometimes it's not the prettiest.'

This group might do things a little differently, but the one thing you can't deny is their love for each other.

Olivia burns: 'the girls this year, we've grown just as close together as we did last year, and we've gotten together and worked hard and that's why we're about to play for a national championship.
