Licencee Ainsley Shillington told 3AW the husband explained to stunned McDonald's staff they had just given birth, as they waited for an ambulance.
'We had a very nervous husband come in and confirm his wife had just had a baby in the car in the car park,' she said.
'He came into the restaurant after she had given actual birth and requested a Quarter Pounder and they also gave him a couple of drinks as well.'
Ms Shillington joked the Quarter Pounder was the mother's 'first request'.
She said the couple were able to enjoy the burger as the order was ready at about the same time the ambulance arrived.
The staff do not know the gender of the baby as the couple were quickly whisked away to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
