The body of a 22-year-old man was found in a well at FACT Colony, Karimugal, here on Monday morning.
The police said the victim Amaljith, a resident of FACT Colony, was missing from Sunday morning onwards. A case for man missing was registered under the Ambalamedu police station limits and the investigation was progressing.
The police suspect that the youth had been under the influence of alcohol after he had attended a wedding reception and might have fallen into the well accidentally.
