BENGALURU: After working for two months on Liquid Galaxy, an open source project funded by Google, Sachin Rammoorthy (16), a class 11 student from Bengaluru, will head to the company headquarters in California.

Sachin is among 50 winners of Code In, Google’s annual open source software development competition.
Sachin, the only winner from Bengaluru, worked on several emerging concepts such as machine learning and data science at Liquid Galaxy. “In 2017, I was a global finalist and in 2018, I was one of the grand prize winners. This was a unique opportunity and I hope to contribute to relevant projects of Liquid Galaxy,” he told TOI.
