Pakistan’s Junaid Khan protests World Cup squad, shares cryptic photo

Islamabad, After being axed from the World Cup 2019 squad, Pakistan fast bowler Junaid Khan has shared a cryptic photo of himself with his mouth sealed shut with black tape on his social media account.

“I dont want to say anything. Truth is bitter. (Sach karwa hotha hai),” Junaid wrote on the post along with a cryptic picture of himself on Monday.

However, Junaid later deleted the tweet, reported Dawn.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief selector, Inzamam-ul-Haq added Star fast-bowlers Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz to the 15-man squad.

Junaid was part of the Pakistan squad in the recently-concluded five-match ODI series was dominated by the English batsmen. He leaked runs at a high economy which eventually resulted in his ouster from the team.

Teams have the option to revise their provisional World Cup squads before May 23.
