Clinical Research Industry Tunes In for Bi-Monthly Dose of Knowledge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PRWEB) May 21, 2019

Catawba Research, a full-service contract research organization (CRO) headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., opened its doors to the pharmaceutical industry in 2014. The business set out to change clinical trial management with a fresh narrative on transparency, collaboration, and engaging sponsors, sites and vendors. Their story has since evolved to more than 36 successful completions of Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials, and now it is the theme of pharma’s newest podcast: Catawba Talks.

“We’re a team of big ideas and big relationships,” said Zaidoon Al-Zubaidy, president and CEO of Catawba Research. “Catawba Talks lets us merge the two and package it all up in quick, interesting episodes. Early on, we realized communicating vision absolutely drives this group. There’s really no better platform right now to articulate our purpose than a podcast.”

In its first wave of pilot episodes, Catawba Talks has explored several subjects, including:

For the Catawba team at the mic, studio life is getting ever more comfortable, Al-Zubaidy said. At a clip of 2 to 3 episodes per month, Catawba Talks looks to have a few dozen in the hopper by year’s end.

“It’s all about sharing knowledge and insights on the innerworkings of this massive machine we call the clinical research scene,” Al-Zubaidy said. “When we get in that room to talk with experts in our network, we’re instantly transported to their part of the study process. It’s fascinating to think, ‘All of these various skillsets and energies must come together in harmony to take a drug from concept to market. We’re doing our part through Catawba Talks to literally amplify the journey.”
