He will be responsible for the development and expansion of Cheval Collection along with the pre-openings of properties and the overall process.
Johansson has more than 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and had spent 17 years at Campbell Gray Hotels where he was a founding member.
There he was a part of delivering technical service, oversaw business development, master planning and the implementation of the company’s growth strategy globally.
Johansson was delighted to join Cheval Collection at such an exciting time, particularly with their very recent announcement of expanding into Dubai.
He was looking forward to spearhead Cheval’s development and growing the company further on an international basis with an exceptionally professional and talented team.
He served the Campbell Gray Hotels as a development director and was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and developing significant projects in Europe, West Indies and the Middle East.
For luxury London hotel, One Aldwych he was a part of the pre-opening team.
Johansson attended the hotel management school in Switzerland, and received hotel training and operational experience across various hotels in Europe.
