Former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has predicted that the people of Andhra Pradesh, which is facing deficit budget, are likely hop on to the ‘cycle’ like how people of Telangana, which has surplus budget, got into ‘car’ as per their financial conditions.
Mr. Lagadapati, claiming to have returned from a month-long U.S. trip only a day ago, called for a press conference to announce that his election survey report with figures of winning candidates and parties in elections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana would be revealed in Tirupati on Sunday evening, when the polling process is over.
‘Pawan will win’
Assuring that the development of Amaravati and irrigation projects would continue in the next five years Mr. Lagadapati said Telugu people in every election gave a clear mandate to a single party in the Assembly elections and the same would happen again in the present elections. There was no chance of a hung Assembly.
He also asserted that Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan would definitely enter the Assembly, though he might not cross the number of Assembly seats won by his brother, K. Chiranjeevi.
“Telangana has a surplus budget and the people there chose car, whereas Andhra Pradesh has deficit budget and the people here are left with the cycle. This is only my calculation,” he said pointing out at the ruling parties but denied further elaboration. However, the former MP clarified that it was only his estimation and that the actual report of the survey would be handed over to him by R.G. Flash team and his friend Yerramsetty Srinivas on Sunday. The team had done a scientific survey involving thousands of voters, he claimed.
“However, no survey could be 100% factual. I have been doing this for the past 15 years out of my interest as a hobby. For a predictive survey report, wait till Sunday evening and for a factual one wait till May 23,” he said. Mr. Lagadapati reiterated that he had no affiliation to any party.
