KOLKATA: A 26-year-old youth from Aizawl was allegedly duped of Rs 97,500 after his ATM card had been exchanged by two other youths inside an ATM kiosk at Mukundupur on May 11.

Zohminglina Mawia got an SMS alert on Friday that the amount was debited from his savings account. He lodged a complaint with Purba Jadavpur police station.
In the complaint, Mawia stated that he had entered the ATM kiosk to collect a statement of his account balance. “Two youths in their early 30s stormed into the kiosk and told me that they would help me collect the statement. They took my card and PIN number and brought out the statement before handing over an ATM card to me. Later, I realised that the card given to me was not mine,” he said.
