Chandigarh: Heroin worth Rs 45 lakh recovered in Sirsa

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police have seized 450 gram of heroin valued at Rs 45 lakh from a car in Sirsa district and arrested three persons in this connection.
A police department official said that a CIA team got a secret information about the accused having purchased heroin from Delhi going through the Ottu Rania area via Rajasthan with an intention to supply it in Dabwali.
He said that the arrested accused were identified as Amandeep Singh alias Jugnu, Rajesh Kumar alias Munna and Pradeep Kumar alias Deepa.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered against them. The accused will be taken on police remand for interrogation to ascertain details of others involved in heroine smuggling racket.
