Embattled NRL star Jarryd Hayne has put one of his luxury Sydney homes up for rent as he continues to battle allegations of sexual assault.

Hayne's $1.5 million Darlinghurst property is available to rent again after it was previously advertised in 2018 for $1350 a week. 

Hayne is asking the same rental rate for the three bedroom, two bathroom terrace home which has been listed on Domain.

Hayne's $1.5 million Darlinghurst property was put on the rental market for the fourth time after it last showed up for rent in 2018 for $1350 a week

The renovated terrace home, built in the 1890s, offers open plan living and dining spaces along with a north facing terrace. 

The home also offers a picturesque court yard with a large hanging garden affording privacy and great exposure to sunlight. 

One of the three large bedrooms is on the ground floor, and could be used as a home office or a 'teenage retreat' for families.  

Since purchasing the home in 2013 Hayne has put the property up for rent three times, once for $1700 a week when he purchased the home, and again for $1450 six months later. 

The home remained off the market until last year.

Hayne is currently battling two sexual assault allegations, one in Australia and one from his time in the United States where he spent 14 months with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL. 

Hayne was served a civil lawsuit in 2017 which alleged he had sexually assaulted a women in San Jose, California, while he was in the San Francisco 49ers squad in 2015. 

It is alleged the sexual assault happened at an apartment Hayne had been living in at the time. 

A second allegation was levelled at Hayne in November of 2018 and he was charged with aggravated sexual assault inflicting actual bodily harm on a victim.

Police allege Hayne went to the Hunter Valley home of a 26-year-old woman and sexually assaulted her. 

Hayne has strenuously denied both allegations.
