Bengaluru: 'Blast' outside MLA's house kills one

BENGALURU: A 45-year-old man died in a blast outside the house of Rajarajeshwarinagar MLA M Muniratna Naidu in Vyalikaval near Sadashivnagar on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Venkatesh Kumar, a washerman by profession.
Senior police officials including city commissioner T Suneel Kumar rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
Investigations revealed that the explosion took place on the road opposite MLA's residence. The man was standing near the place where the blast took place and died on the spot.

“Experts from forensic science laboratory are examining the nature of the explosion,” said Suneel Kumar, city top cop.
Police are yet to confirm whether it was an accidental blast.
