Former Australia cricketer Brad Hodge was at the receiving end after his comment on the commercial of Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant got him brutally trolled.
Himalaya has signed Kohli and ICC Emerging Player of the Year 2018, Pant to promote its 'Men Face Care Range'. The advertisement aired on all digital platforms and Hodge was quick to comment on it saying, "Amazing what people do for money".

Fans were quick to respond to Hodge's comment as they slammed the former Kings XI Punjab head coach. They reminded him of the infamous ball-tampering scandal as well.
Amazing what people do to win matches.... BTW it should not bother you pic.twitter.com/wXdHDbmPPH

How is it bothering you ? Is it because you dont hav any work & sitting idle ? Or is it because you didnt earn anything in this season of ipl . Dont know why australians are too much bothered about Indian Cricketers even when they cant control their own mates (ball tempering ).

Hodge however, cleared the air and clarified what he actually meant. "Funny, I never did say there was nothing wrong with it. I would do the same. Your interpretation of my comment was so 'glass half full' if I attach ??. Your interpretation would be different.

"Amazing how brutal people are in response. So negative and glass half full. I was not speaking in a negative tone. I would do the same if asked and paid," Hodge said.
