MUMBAI: A 47-year-old woman working with an animal welfare organisation has complained to the police that she and a woman colleague were molested by a man over feeding strays. An FIR has been lodged at DN Nagar police station.

On Monday, the woman and her colleagues went to a housing society in Andheri (west) to feed strays when some residents objected.
Over the next two days, when they went to feed strays, the residents fought with them. On Thursday, when the woman and seven of her colleagues went there, a few residents including a man in his thirties, allegedly hurled abuses at them and pushed a woman volunteer.
