HYDERABAD: The Jubilee Hills check post metro station on
Ameerpet-Hitec City Metro rail route will be opened for passengers on Saturday.
When the Hitec City Metro route was opened on March 20, five stations were thrown open for passengers and two others,
Peddammagudi and Madhapur stations were subsequently opened.
The Jubilee Hills check post metro station happens to be the only remaining Metro station in the 56 km operational corridor of Miyapur-LB Nagar and Nagole-Hitec City.
“With this, commuters from and to Film Nagar, Journalists Colony, Nandagiri Hills, Taraka Rama Nagar, Deen Dayal Nagar, Gayatri Hills and other colonies around Jubilee Hills check post and KBR Park including areas of Banjara Hills can easily access the metro rail at check post,” said NVS Reddy, Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited.
There are eight stations on the route, including Taruni-Madhura Nagar, Yousufguda, Jubilee Hills Road No.5, Jubilee Hills check post, Peddammagudi, Madhapur, Durgam Cheruvu and Hitec City stations.
