Indore: Assuring industrialists here on Thursday, Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that he will develop a system in which officials will not issue show cause notice to them or to people but they (industrialists) will give show cause notice to them for not doing work. Addressing industrialists during “Samvad programme” organised by Indore Congress Committee on Thursday at Brilliant Convention Centre, Nath said, “I got about 130 days to work, I tried to change the old system. We all have to work with new thinking and new approach so that we can achieve new heights of development in the state.”
Talking about investments in the state, he said investment is the article of faith and developing that faith is the responsibility of industrialists, people, officials and the government. “We (government) will work as an enabler and don’t want to be disabler. We can help industrialists in their growth but they have to adopt a new approach and have to think what will be the market after five years,” he said. He said that the government will ensure the safety and security of industrialists and will run on the suggestions by them.
Nath assured all help and to promote even small industries and to make them an important part to impact the market economy. He also appealed people to vote to whom they want to vote but to stand with the truth. A large number of industrialists participated in the programme, including representatives of Ahilya Chamber of Commerce, CREDAI, Kapda Vyapari Association, Dal Mill Association, Siyaganj Vyapari Association, young entrepreneurs and women industrialists. IAS officials working on British model Talking about the working of IAS, Nath said that they still get training on the model set by Britons in which they were trained to secure the interest of the state and they were not concerned with consumers and investors. “I have spoken at IAS academy many a times. They work on old rules and regulations. System needs a change and so the thinking of administration officials as they are the one who will execute the planning,” he said.
