Ludhiana: Burger-seller willing to file affidavit listing promises

Ravinderpal Singh is also known as Baba ji burger wale
LUDHIANA: From selling burgers on a roadside eatery to contesting parliamentary election for Ludhiana seat, Ravinderpal Singh (30), alias Baba ji burger wale has a hectic poll campaigning schedule.
To garner support from potential voters, Singh has been trying to convince them by saying that he is even ready to sign an affidavit mentioning pre-poll promises so that in case he is not able to fulfill the same in given period of time, people can punish him the way they wish to.

From 6 in the morning to 11at night, Ravinderpal Singh is putting his best foot forward in politics. After witnessing the “failure” of recently elected candidates in the past from across Ludhiana, Singh took it upon himself to fill the lacuna. He can be seen creating an awareness about his election symbol, key, and his political agendas.
“I have stepped into politics with no such background or money that could facilitate me. I run a small burger eatery in Model Town. I have to face more challenges than any other candidate in the fray for Lok Sabha elections,” he added.
