A Tui flight from Manchester Airport bound for Greece is circling over North Wales.
The Boeing 737 was flying to Funschal when it flew over the Irish Sea and is currently in a holding pattern over Flinthshire.

Incident aircraft
The Boeing 737 involved in this flight is reported to be six and a half years old and was delivered new to the British airline in November 2012. It spent last winter on lease to Canadian airline Sunwing before returning to the UK.
Earlier today the aircraft had made an uneventful flight to Venice and return.
Landed
The aircraft has landed on the southerly runway at Manchester Airport and is now taxying back to Terminal 2.
There are no details about why it has had to return to Manchester less than an hour after its departure.
Approach
The 737 has now left its circling pattern and made a wide circling approach above Liverpool at about 6,000 feet and appears to be making an approach back to Manchester Airport

It climbed out normally but overhead Chester made a right turn and began a holding pattern over the Dee estuary and the Irish Sea near Prestatyn flying at about 6,000 feet
