Legendary West Indies cricketer Michael Holding has picked out couple of players in the Indian team who could be the team’s X-factor players at the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales.

The showpiece even begins in UK on May 30, with two-time champions India scheduled to play their first match of the tournament against South Africa on June 5.

Holding was the last man dismissed by Mohinder Amarnath in the final at Lord’s in India’s historic 1983 World Cup win. The West Indies cricket icon believes that India are capable of repeating the feat because of the presence of two X-factor players in their ranks.

“I will mention two names, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. Both these cricketers have excellent qualities to win the Cup for India,” Holding was quoted as saying by Times of India.

India, who are currently ranked at number 2 in the ICC ODI Rankings, are touted as one of the favourites for the crown along with hosts England and defending champions Australia.

“England are playing at home. They have really displayed well in ODI cricket recently. They really have a balanced side. India have been outstanding. They are consistent. They have good players. I will not be surprised if England or India win the cup this time.
