Deepika Padukone, who is a regular now at Cannes has left no stone unturned to make a statement at the coveted red carpet. For her first red carpet appearance at Cannes 2019, she surprised everyone with a dramatic black and white gown by Peter Dundas. And now, she's ruling the second day of Festival de Cannes.
For her second appearance, the actress didn't play safe and turned heads with a green tulle gown by ace Italian designer Giambattista Valli. The designer is famous for a fairytale-inspired collection, featuring maximalist tulles and tiered gowns, which stand out from the crowd. From Rihanna to Emma Stone, Giambattista has been a go-to choice for many A-listers.
The larger-than-life gown worn by Deepika is surely one of the biggest fashion fantasies that have come to life! The asymmetrical gown had a short hemline at the front and an explosion of tulle train at the back in a shocking neon green colour. She paired the voluminous gown with a headscarf in pink colour. With this look, she let her dress rule her look and kept her beauty look minimal. Her make-up was done by Sandhya Shekar, who gave her a soft glam look with soft shimmery eyes, highlighted cheekbones and nude lip colour.
