Fourth-Gen BMW X5 Launched In India At Rs 72.90 Lakhs

BMW India has launched the new fourth-generation X5 in the India at starting price of Rs 72.9 lakhs. The new X5 is bigger than previous model. And, this model now available in three variants - Sport, xLine and MSport. This model now available only with diesel enjin option and petrol model set to arrive at a later date. 

Variant wise ex-showroom price details:

  • BMW X5 xDrive30d Sport : Rs 72.9 lakh
  • BMW X5 xDrive30d xLine: Rs 82.4 lakh 
  • BMW X5 xDrive40i MSport: Rs 82.4 lakh

The new Fourth-Gen BMW X5 is based on the new CLAR platform, and it measuring 4,922mm in length, 2,004mm in width, 1,745mm in height and 2,975mm in wheelbase. This model gets the  new sleek LED headlamps and have the BMW Laser light with adaptive LED signature.  As usual, this model also gets new and bigger BMW's kidney shaped front grill. On the inside, this model gets the 12.3-inch floating infotainment touchscreen, horizontal centre console and now a fully-digital instrument cluster called the BMW Live Cockpit Professional display.

Mechanically, the xDrive30d  model remains the same old 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six diesel engine, but now this motor is compliant with the BS-VI emission norms. It produces 261.5bhp of power and 620Nm of torque. The xDrive40i will be introduced with a new 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine that produces 340PS of power and 450Nm of torque. The eight-speed Steptronic transmission and xDrive all-wheel-drive come as standard for all models.
