IDEATE, India’s Digital Entertainment and Technology Expo to be held in October 2019

With India rapidly adopting and inculcating digital technologies throughout all sectors, there is a huge potential in the Indian content market just waiting to be tapped. Currently there are over 627 million internet subscribers across the country, a number that is growing at an exponential rate who are consuming digital content at a rapid pace. Taking this into consideration, BQrius Brand & Networks Pvt Ltd and Marquee One Events LLP have announced the launch of IDEATE, India’s Digital Entertainment and Technology Expo.

The first edition will be held in NSIC Grounds, New Delhi from 31 October to 3 November, 2019. IDEATE will be a unique, large format interactive exhibition in India which aims to bring together Indian and International leaders to lead the tech-savvy population of India further towards digital technology.

This will include categories like media solutions, Artificial Intelligence and robotics, Hardware, Software and app developers, AR/VR and gaming, VFX & animation. Thus, IDEATE aims to feature diverse product categories and marketplaces under one roof and curate a lively content driven premium platform for the business of digital entertainment and technology. To promote conversation and exchange of ideas, IDEATE will also have a programming calendar featuring talks, interactive sessions and keynotes.

By 2020, projection estimates for AR is valued to be $150 billion while gaming and OTTs could have an audience of 628 million and 100 million respectively as focus shifts to specific content defined to audience segments. As of now, online gaming has seen growth of 52%, Animation/VFX by 18%, Digital Media by 42% and Digital ADs as well as subscriptions by 34%.
