Coles is branching out into the health foods industry, with a new brand offering 28 products aimed at health-obsessed consumers.

Coles Chief Operating Officer Greg David said the Wellness Road range is aimed at making healthy options more accessible and affordable for customers who want to include better choices in their everyday diet.
'From teenagers, through to those in their 60s and 70s, our customers are telling us that they want to eat less processed foods and cut back on sugar and salt,' he said in a statement.
'But customers also don't want to change their entire diet or pay a huge premium for healthier foods, and they don't have time to make a special shopping trip for a couple of ingredients.'

All of the products include are free from artificial colours and flavours.
They are also made with reduced levels of sugar and salt and free from trans fats.
What really sets the Coles health range apart, however, is the price.
You can get 500 grams of Wellness Road Organic Cacao Powder for just $10 - which is one third of the price that you might find something similar at specialist stores.
The range launches on Thursday 16 May and is available in selected stores and online.

It's not the first big announcement from the supermarket this week either.
On Wednesday, Coles announced it was beginning to stock supersized products to rival US bulk-buying outlet Costco.
More than 25 products are now offered in value-sized packs - including Special K and Fruit Loops.
This can allow shoppers to save up to 60 per cent.
