The car is expected to have a three-row-layout of the cabin space, with a seating capacity of seven.
French carmaker Renault’s upcoming compact SUV was recently spotted in a production-ready avatar in India. While the company is gearing up for the Triber’s launch, here are some interesting facts about it.
The car is expected to have a three-row-layout of the cabin space, with a seating capacity of seven. However, it will still come under the sub-four-metre compact SUV segment. The car is expected to be launched in petrol as well as diesel variant.
While the Triber has not been officially revealed, it can be safely assumed that it will run on either a 1-litre petrol engine which is found in the Kwid, albeit with a turbocharger. Alternately it could also get the K9K 1.5-litre diesel engine which underpins all the Renault diesel models in the country. These engines could be mated to a five-speed manual transmission, although Renault’s EasyR automatic gearbox could be offered as an option.
