Terming those who are presently leading AIADMK as ‘traitors,’ Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran on Monday appealed to the voters of Tirupparankundram Assembly constituency to teach a lesson to them in the by-election.
Addressing election campaign in different places in the constituency on Thursday, he said that AIADMK and the ‘two leaves’ symbol were in the hands of traitors now. He alleged that the party, fully being controlled by the BJP, was acting as the latter’s agents.
“You have already taught them a lesson in the by-elections to 18 Assembly constituencies that happened on April 18. The same needs to be done for the upcoming elections to four Assembly constituencies as well,” he said.
He assured that all the needs of the constituency would be fulfilled if the party’s candidate, I. Mahendran, was elected.
