THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Applications for admissions to higher secondary courses in the state has crossed 4.7 lakh. Last date for submitting applications online is May 16.
Of the total number of students who have applied so far, 4,13,262 are from the
SSLC stream and 45,560 and 4,278 from the CBSE and ICSE streams respectively.
In order to ensure transparency and efficiency in sports quota admission, the same would be carried out using online mechanism this year.
Those who proved their mettle in sports are advised to register their sports certificates with district sports councils. Score cards thus received are to be uploaded on www.hscap.kerala.gov.in. Applications for admission under sports quota can be submitted from May 15 to 22. Those who have already submitted applications for admission in merit quota seats need to apply again under sports quota, if admission is being sought under that category.
