Man consumes poison. Family takes him to a temple. He dies
A Gurugram man, who consumed poison, died after his family took him to a temple instead of a hospital.
Jeevraj Rathore (28), had consumed poison on May 13. His family found him near a lake in an unconscious state after which they carried him to a temple. They believed that offering prayers would heal him faster.

Jeevraj was made to drink a lot of water as his family hoped he'd spew out the poison from his body.
He remained in a stabilised condition for two days. However, on Wednesday his condition got worse -- and then the family rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
