Incomplete FOB

It has almost been a year since construction of a foot overbridge was initiated at Ameerpet main road near Chermas to help pedestrians get to the other side of the road safely. I don’t understand how long pedestrians have to risk their lives while crossing the road while fast-moving vehicles ply on this road. I request GHMC authorities/traffic police to take urgent steps to complete the work and offer assistance to pedestrians meanwhile.

Sports quota

The government is yet to come out with a comprehensive order with respect to sports quota as a result of which students seeking admissions to polytechnics, engineering colleges and medical colleges will be at a disadvantage. I appeal to the government to come out with a GO facilitating filling up of seats exclusively in sports quota. It should not delay the matter in the interest of sportspersons who are good in studies as the High Court too has not barred it from coming out with a new order after the medical admissions scandal last year.

Debris left behind

I would like to point out that GHMC officials have cleaned the New Osmangunj Nala but have left the debris behind. It has been lying on the road for the past two weeks and the stink is causing immense inconvenience to people. I request municipal officials to take immediate action.
