NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC Board) released the JAC Board Class 10 Results today (May 16) on its official website.

The Board had successfully conducted the Secondary Examination (Class 10) and Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12) for the academic session 2018-19 in the month of Feb-March. The Council had conducted Class 10 exams from February 20 to March 9, 2019. This year, about 4.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams in Jharkhand.


Last year, more than 4.3 lakh students had taken the JAC 10th board exam and the overall pass percentage was 59.49.

JAC Class X Result 2019: Live Updates

* 16,389 students secured 3rd division

* 125883 students secured 2nd division

* "This is a huge qualitative improvement", said JAC chairman

* Last year, 1 lakh students scored 1st division marks which has increased to,1,66,916 students this year

* Total number of general students appearing for the 10th exam in 2019 was 2,29,130, out of which 1,61,981 were declared pass

* Total number of Scheduled Cast students who appeared in the exam is 27,333, out of which 18,536 were declared pass

* Total number of Schedule tribes students is 64,915, out of which 42,967 cleared the exam

* The total number of OBC students is 85,323, out of which 63,504 were declared pass

* Out of the total 2,12,410 boys who appeared for the 10th exam, 72.99% have been declared pass

* The pass percentage of girls is 68.67%. A total of 2,25,846 girls had appeared for the exam

* A total of 4,38,256 students appeared for the 10th exam this year

* Out of the total students who appeared for the 10th exam, a total of 3,10,158 have been declared pass

* The pass percentage of class X this year is 70.77%

* There have been growth in the pass percentage number compared to last year


* In 2018, the class X pass percentage was 59.48%


* JAC secretary Mahip Kumar Singh and JAC chairperson Arvind Prasad Singh have arrived at the JAC office in Namkum to announce the class 10 results for 2019
