Tech committee to scrutinize LSGD manual for public works

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has constituted a technical committee for scrutinizing the LSGD manual for public works. The committee will have the following members; Chief engineer LSGD, Beena L , chief engineer ( road maintenance),PWD and M S Girish, professor and head, department of civil engineering, college of engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.
Chief engineer LSGD will be the convenor of the technical committee. The state government decided to develop operational manuals as part of enabling local self governments to function efficiently and effectively.The government had entrusted the chief engineer, LSGD to prepare LSGD manual for public works.
The chief engineer has recently informed the state government that the draft manual has been completed and requested to constitute a technical committee for scrutinizing it before submitting to government.
