For the past 27 years, Sarvani Sangeetha Sabha has been organising concerts to pay homage to Annamacharya.
Priya Sisters
The sabha was motivated to propagate the compositions of Telugu vaggeyakkaras, the foremost among them being Annmayya. The first concert was held at the Kasturi Srinivasan Hall of the Music Academy in 1991.

Many musicians, young and veterans have been featured by the Sabha. Seniors, including D. Pasupati, G. Balakrishna Prasad, Priya Sisters, Malladi Suri Babu and Vijayanagaram Brothers have presented recitals. Initially, the Academy in association with TTD, joined hands with the Sabha to conduct a two-day Annamacharya special.
In a unique concert, playback legend S. Janaki sang with Balakrishna Prasad and again with S.P. Shylaja. Appearing in the series in 2002, S.P. Balasubramaniam said that it was his first devotional concert in public. He was assisted by his sisters Shylaja and Vasantha. A highlight was the introduction to each song given by scholar, Samavedam Shanmukha Sarma in Telugu. All the concerts, in fact, are supported by valuable preludes.
As a variation, in 2015, Sahitya Akademi scholar M.V. Simhachala Sastry presented a Harikatha in Telugu. In 2018, the compositions of Annamayya, Ramadas and Tyagarja under the title ART. Recently, Nihal (of Hyderabad), Nityasanthoshini and Gopika Purnima rendered the Navavida Bhakti Keerthanalu (of Annamacharya). Even as each song was in progress, artist Kuchi completed a drawing.
