Hindu extremist remark: MNM seeks action against TN minister who wanted to cut Kamal Haasan’s tongue

CHENNAI: Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) on Friday submitted a complaint to chief electoral officer Satyabrata Sahoo seeking immediate action against Tamil Nadu minister K T Rajenthra Bhalaji who wanted MNM leader Kamal Hassan's tongue to be cut for his Hindu extremist remark.

"What the minister has said is a threat to our party chief and action must be taken against him," said MNM Chennai central district in-charge U Priyadarshani in the complaint.
“The minister has used bad words to criticise our chief which may lead to violence. Forgetting that he is a minister, Bhalaji is behaving as though he is heading a kangaroo court. Under our Constitution, all citizens have power to give their views and there can be opposition to the views but in a democracy," said Priyadarshani.
