“The Honor 20 Pro is expected to be a flagship offering with a Kirin 980 processor and four rear cameras”
Honor is all set to unveil its next-gen flagship smartphones dubbed the Honor 20 and 20 Pro at an event in London on May 21st. Ahead of the unveiling, a handful of press renders of the higher-end Honor 20 Pro had already leaked earlier this month. Now, Android Central has published a post about the phone, in which the publication has revealed the details regarding the handset’s display, rear cameras, selfie, shooter, and design. The blog seems to have accidentally published the post ahead of the official announcement. At the time of writing this story, the post has been pulled down from the website.
As per the report, the Honor 20 Pro sports a 6.26-inch display with a tiny hole for the selfie camera. The front shooter is a 32-megapixel sensor. Design-wise, the device offers a new three-layer “Dynamic Holographic” glass coating, which offers an appealing look. The phone ditches an in-display fingerprint sensor for a side-mounted scanner, which is placed below the power button.
Coming to the rear cameras, the report suggests that the Honor 20 Pro features four shooters at the rear. Below the primary snapper, the phone has a half-inch sensor with an aperture of f/1.4. There’s an ultra-wide lens on board alongside a 3x zoom lens and a macro camera. The device doesn’t have a Time of Flight (ToF) camera, which is available on the Honor View series. Instead, the new Honor features laser autofocus. The source also says that the Honor 20 Pro has a “crazy-good” night mode, which is not only available on the primary camera, but also on the ultra-wide lens.
Sadly, the publication hasn’t revealed anything about the other specifications as well as the pricing of the Honor 20 Pro at the moment. We will have official details in a matter of days, so stay tuned 91mobiles for regular updates.
