Indian man from Telangana dies in bus-container collision in Kuwait

HYDERABAD: A 39-year-old man from Karimnagar died in a road mishap in Kuwait involving the bus he was driving on May 14. In the mishap involving the bus and a truck at the 4th ring road, Mohammed Farahzuddin lost his life. Seven others were injured when the two vehicles collided.

Farahzuddin’s family in Krishnanagar of Bommakal village in Karimnagar Mandal and district learnt about the accident and his death late on Tuesday night. He had gone to Kuwait to five years ago and in latest employment was working as a driver for a city bus. The condition of some who were injured in the mishap was also said to be critical as the bus collided against a container.
The General Administration (NRI) Department, Government of Telangana on Wednesday wrote a letter to the Indian embassy in Kuwait to help in early transportation of the mortal remains back to India. In the letter addressed to the union external affairs ministry also, the chief secretary urged that the family be assisted to coordinate with the local administration, police and the bus company for which Farahzuddin had been working.
